  Three Greedy Thieves Once in a village, there lived three thieves. They wanted to leave the village because one in the village knew about them. No one liked those three thieves. One day, very early in the morning they left their village. They walked a long way. They reached a hut of a hermit in the jungle. They asked him for a day's shelter in his hut. He agreed. Next morning, they woke up early and became ready to start their journey. But the hermit warned them about the way. He said, "There lives a death in a well. I saved my life with great difficulty." STRUCTURE OF THE EARTH Our earth is round like an orange. If we go the open ground and look everywhere we feel that it is flat. We feel this because of its very huge size. When we see the moon from the earth, it looks round. Similarly, if we see the earth from the moon, earth also looks round. For example, when a small insects moves on a big ball it cannot see the all the parts of the ball. Similarly, we can see only a small portion of the earth. We cannot see all parts of the earth.                           Internal Structure of the Earth The internal structure of the earth is made of three layers.
